Job Purpose
The New Partner RFP & Onboarding Lead for MERA will provide operational and project management support to plan, manage, and execute MERA markets (including Saudi and Türkiye) specific needs for external partnerships (for distribution and promotion). He/she is also responsible for the execution, deployment & follow-up of MERA Sales Intermediaries (SI) Governance and MERA Commercial Policy Guidance.
Key Accountabilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Strategy
Support markets in exploration of potential portfolio / products that will be suitable to commercialize by 3rd parties, not limited to established products but it can also be expanded to pipelines in reprioritized markets.
Develop mid-term partnership strategy to ensure support on key established and inline products’ growth
Scan and assess potential commercial partners
Operational and Financial Performance
Leverage innovative digital platform (currently under development across EM/Int´l) to guide the RFP process, financial evaluation, due diligence, contract negotiation, and onboarding new partners (training, etc.)
Recommend strategic decisions to optimize partnership outcome.
Guide the transition process of new partnership in each of the markets
Partner with Commercial, Finance, Legal, GSC, BAI and Procurement team in respective markets and at the regional level.
Project Management:
Collaborate with markets to execute the RFP process for external partnerships in coordination with MERA Partnerships & Alliances (PA) Management Team.
Provides operational support to teams and appropriate (sub)committees as per region-specific needs.
Work with Regional Functional Team members, Project Management Officers (PMOs) and Finance Managers (as needed), on business case reviews and approval and tracking in appropriate systems, forecasting and reporting.
Provide the MERA PA Lead with RFP process milestones and schedule updates.
Ensure regular information updates, analysis and interpretation of planning and forecasting data to project and functional teams.
Supports key business governance interactions for strategic decision-making, effective execution and operational risk management, directly interacting with governance and senior leaders on topics related to external partnerships (new and renewals)
Team Effectiveness and Meeting Management:
Ensure that teams work effectively to move projects forward. Develop trust and collaboration with team members and partner lines. Develop effective and collaborative working relationships with key functional stakeholders including senior management.
Provide meeting management support including scheduling meetings, developing agendas, gathering and distributing meeting materials, managing meeting flow and discussion, producing meeting minutes, following up on action items, and storing all materials appropriately (e.g., on the relevant SharePoint site).
Analysis, Reporting and Documentation/Archiving
Generate information(reports/presentations) in support of business planning processes
Research/compile/analyze data for specific projects as needed.
Creation of high-level presentations, charts, spreadsheets, reports, etc.
Develop and administer surveys in coordination with the MERA PA Lead.
Assists in managing SharePoint sites (e.g., post/archive documents, ensure content is current and compliant with Pfizer policies).
Region-specific Support - MERA Markets
Oversee & monitor the Request For Information/ Request For Proposal (RFI/RFP) Process, Ker Performance Indicator (KPI) Evaluation Process and Commercial Policies across MERA in coordination with MERA PA Management Team.
Develop and manage the process of evaluating performance of SIs every semester by using the KPI evaluation tool, ensuring alignment with company objectives, compliance with contractual agreements, and address any deficiencies.
Oversee & periodically update MERA SI Governance in coordination with MERA PA Team.
Support MERA PA Management Team to conduct the necessary data gathering/market analysis as part of developing & shaping MERA Commercial Policy Guidance.
Analyze & enhance the current & potential SI business model across MERA in coordination with the relevant in-market teams.
Maintain a monthly dashboard for the above-mentioned projects.
Plan and lead meetings with PMOs, and support PA Management Team in the continuous enhancement of PMOs knowledge and capabilities related to SI management.
Support in process simplification, speed complemented with compliant behaviors.

Experience and Knowledge
Minimum bachelor’s degree required preferably in Business, Finance or Economics.
Master’s degree is a plus (or equivalent by experience).
5-7 years of direct experience supporting projects in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
Experience in working with 3rd party and /or distribution management across MERA.
Experience in commercial compliance, bidding and/or contracting is a huge plus.
Geographic Scope: MERA Region, plus supporting Saudi Arabia and Türkiye PA (if needed).
