Network operation including problem resolution data network security network performance stats network diagnostic information and site surveys
Are you someone who can
- Evaluate and recommend purchases of optimal network devices and related network software. Configure, install and maintain network devices.
- Liaise with ISP’s and other network contractors for services/products.
- Plan and implement network security, including building firewalls, applying cryptography to network applications, managing host security, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery plans.
- Ensure file system integrity and adding and deleting users. Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties.
- Document network problems and resolutions for future reference.
- Provide and maintain a highly available, scalable, manageable, converging and performing network in line with business requirements.
- Identify all the components within the network.
- Define benchmarks for latency and utilization.
- Manage availability and implement changes during defined slots and at appropriate times.
- Ensure knowledge transfer to junior employees.
You will be an ideal candidate if you
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Have a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA): Routing & switching.
- Have at least 3 years of relevant experience.
