A Brief Overview
  • Designs, develops, and implements digital solutions and systems by applying technical expertise to architect and code software applications, conduct system testing and debugging, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the overall technical direction and innovation of digital engineering projects.
  • Leverages programming skills to design and implement efficient, reliable, and scalable digital solutions aligned with business requirements.
  • Writes clean, maintainable code, develops software components, and implements functionalities according to project specifications and best practices.
  • Collaborates with development teams and stakeholders to define technical architecture, infrastructure, and integration points for digital solutions.
  • Participates in technical discussions, proposes design patterns, and contributes to architectural decisions to ensure performance, security, and maintainability.
  • Conducts thorough testing and quality assurance, including writing and executing unit tests, performing code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting issues to ensure stability and reliability.
  • Engages in Agile development practices, attends stand-ups and planning sessions, and contributes to sprint goals and progress tracking.
  • Creates and maintains technical documentation, including system designs, specifications, and user guides to support ongoing development and knowledge sharing.
  • Demonstrates continuous learning and professional growth by exploring new technologies, attending training programs, and staying current with industry trends.
  • Supports junior-level tasks such as front-end development, responsive design implementation, and basic troubleshooting under guidance, while progressively taking ownership of more complex features.

For this role you will need Minimum Requirements
  • 3-5 years work experience with .NET
  • 3-5 years work experience with SQL
  • Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)
  • AWS Certified or Azure Certified DevOps Engineer
  • Prior experience with MVC, Angular, REST

Education
  • Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$72,100.00 - $144,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
