The Opportunity:

As a project management specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, an experienced project management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication. 

On our team, you’ll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of a NAVSEA PEO. You’ll work with key stakeholders to review contracts and project cost accounting. You’ll help with tactical planning using resources like MS Planner and the MS Office suite and regular interactions with vendors, technical and contract SMEs, senior members of the NAVSEA staff, and supporting warfare center personnel.

You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience developing and coordinating data-driven presentations informing senior leaders on financial, schedule, and risk status of ongoing projects to drive decision-making

  • 5+ years of experience providing leadership and guidance to teams and supporting a senior leader, operating in a fast-paced, team-oriented dynamic environment where product quality is key and done consistently at a high level with a bias for action

  • 5+ years of experience using Microsoft tools such as Project, SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, Word, Excel, Visio, or Power Point

  • 5+ years of experience driving daily operations and improving organizational performance to achieve mission success through the effective utilization of human, fiscal, and time resources

  • 3+ years of experience with risk management, including risk development, tracking, and development of risk mitigation strategies

  • 2+ years of experience working at a resource sponsor such as OPNAV N9

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience managing multiple projects within scope, budget, and timeline

  • Experience with engineering

  • Ability to read and comprehend ship construction drawings, schematics, and technical manuals

  • Ability to self-start to exceed client expectations

  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail, multitask, and perform customer service

  • Possession of excellent analysis and problem-solving skills

  • Possession of excellent organizational, management, and communication skills

  • Master’s degree

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
