National Sales Coordinator, Inside Sales and Key Accounts

CAN, Ontario - Full Time Remote Full time

The successful candidate will provide administrative and sales support for Manulife Banks National Accounts team. They will be required to develop a thorough understanding of the Manulife Bank business, the uniqueness of its distribution channels and the unique needs of our sales force.

Reporting into the Head of National Accounts, the successful candidate would be expected to provide professional and effective support to the directors of national accounts. This includes accountabilities like the fulfillment of sales & marketing material requests, assisting with medium to large scale sales events, maintaining and continuously working with stakeholders to store and format critical sales reports and relevant sales content, managing all team employee status changes (onboarding and terminations) and submitting and tracking expenses and budget management.

The National Sales Coordinator will act as a central point of contact for the National Accounts team. The objective is to assist the team in achieving a specific sales target from multiple distribution channels on a national scope. Sales incentive programs and marketing tools are provided to assist in the achievement of this goal.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage all new hire onboarding, leave of absences and terminations, including support for home office setup and system access.  

  • Maintain, update and organize all content on our internal communication platforms 

  • Medium to large event coordination for the field, including advisor education and distribution channel events (Note: this role will also support all medium to large event management for home office locations – currently Waterloo and Halifax) 

  • Co-ordinate and monitor prompt distribution of marketing materials and sales aids as requested by national accounts team

  • Responsible for small scale projects 

  • Contribute to the production and distribution of firm scorecards

  • Assist in planning and booking all meeting logistics on behalf of the Head of National Accounts

  • Problem resolution for field management (National Accounts Directors)

  • Process invoices for region and track, maintain, submit expenses, etc. 

  • Handle all incoming and outgoing mail and courier Ad-hoc sales reporting task

Required Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree and/or the equivalent combination of education/experience 

  • Strong interpersonal, professional and diplomacy skills with a high comfort level in dealing with individuals at all levels in the organization 

  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint & Excel 

  • Strong organizational, time management and priority setting skills to meet tight deadlines 

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, show initiative, and anticipate needs in a proactive manner 

  • Ability to prepare and understand reports, and identify discrepancies in reporting 

  • Able to exercise discretion and tact in situations involving sensitive and confidential information 

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment 

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail 

  • Strong verbal communication and business writing skills 

  • The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French to support clients from various provinces outside of Québec.

Salary range is expected to be between

$51,975.00 CAD - $86,625.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
