JOB MISSION:
The GTM Operations Analyst plays an important role in supporting sales and merchandising execution for footwear and apparel. This position is central to our quarterly go to market strategy, including goal setting for Canada and tracking and reporting on assortment distribution. The role serves as a Business Analyst by reviewing key performance metrics within regional assortments and monitoring volume activity against corporate goals. The GTM Operations Analyst also provides critical leadership and support for the region's Merchandising and Go to Market capabilities, partnering with NA Merchandising to operationalize assortments and delivering essential system support to create a best in class sell in experience.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Merchandising Operations
ERP table management. E.g., Class of Trade distribution, Exclusion table, Booking Programs.
Maintain Merch Class and Stocking policy for the Canadian Market
Booking Close tracking – key input into inventory purchases
Lead SMU Product Opportunity process
Key partner with Sales, Sales Planning, GBU Product Management & NA Merchandising to execute selling collateral (samples, catalogs, sell-in information) and Directed Assortment execution
Key player in communication to field on Product and Assortment changes via SFDC and other vehicles
Manager missing product recalls and inspection.
Merchandising Analysis and Support (building profitable assortments) Enforcing merch strategy, through the DA & tiers
Business Analysis and Support
Track and communicate hard launches and new intros to stakeholders
Maintain and provide analysis into standardized Volume reporting (bookings, pacing, forecast) for Regional Leadership consumption
Lead Monthly Sales Call process partnering with Cust Ops and Sales
Enhanced Inventory reporting with focus on End of Life
Key Customers
Merchandising, Commercial Teams, Customer Operations, Integrated Business Planning, Finance, Field Sales and Customers
REQUIRMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
Four-year college degree
Problem-solving skills - proactively recommend solutions to various stakeholders; make decisions with limited information.
Advanced proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Excel, with strong analytical capabilities to build dashboards, perform complex data analysis, and interpret quantitative data to support operational decision‑making.
Experience with ERP systems, specifically Microsoft D365.
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in a fast pace, challenging and dynamic environment
2+ years of sales, customer service, demand planning, forecasting, allocation or merchandising experience
Leadership and team-building skills. Ability to direct day-to-day activities.
Optimization mindset & Strategic thinking - designs and develop plans to optimize decisions.
