The Enterprise Data Platforms Organization enables the business functions with an integrated and intuitive Enterprise platform services in the field of Databases, Integration and Analytical Platform services.

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Engineer/Administrator – Microsoft Fabric & Power BI with 7+ years of expertise in managing enterprise data platforms. This role focuses on administration, performance optimization, security, and automation within the Microsoft Fabric and Power BI ecosystem, supporting business intelligence at scale.

Roles & Responsibilities:  MS Fabric & Power BI Platform Administrator  - (7+ Years of Experience)

  • Administer and maintain Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot data pipelines within Fabric, ensuring reliability and performance.
  • Monitor pipeline execution and logs, identifying and resolving failures and performance bottlenecks.
  • Set up automated alerts and error-handling mechanisms to ensure platform uptime and proactive issue resolution.
  • Manage and optimize dataset refresh schedules, workspace usage, and report performance in Power BI.
  • Implement and maintain governance, security policies, and audit trail mechanisms across the Fabric environment.
  • Analyze usage patterns and system health metrics to recommend scaling and optimization strategies.
  • Conduct regular access audits, review workspace activity, and monitor compliance across environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, security, and analytics for end-to-end platform delivery.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers; document standard operating procedures and platform architecture.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Graduation with 7+ years of working experience on Fabric and Power BI platform administration.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI administration
  • Proficient in SQL, DAX, and scripting (Python/Shell/PowerShell) for platform automation and analytics
  • In-depth understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data ingestion, and transformation within Fabric
  • Experience in performance tuning, system monitoring, and troubleshooting in enterprise environments
  • Strong background in data governance, access control, and compliance management
  • Ability to manage large-scale dataset refreshes, security roles, and workspace permissions
  • Tickets handling with Service Now or any other ticketing tools.
  • Expertise in Documentations for maintaining Security/CSQA standards.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Handle business requirements and queries.
  • Scripting experience for automation tasks (e.g., data extraction, cleanup, monitoring)
  • Familiarity with Git for version control (clone, commit, push)
  • Basic knowledge of system administration and networking
  • Strong soft skills: teamwork, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving

Additional Details:

  • Familiarity with Azure and AWS cloud platforms for deployment and integration.
  • Exposure to Azure Data Factory or similar orchestration tools.
  • Understanding of data science workflows and working with large datasets.
  • Strong leadership, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Availability to work flexible work hours is/may be required. This team will support continuous operations across two shifts and therefore, this role will require non-standard work hours, and some work on weekends and holidays.  Appropriate adjustments in benefits will be provided for employees working non-standard hours where applicable.
