NTT DATA is looking for a Systems Engineer (L4) to join our team to manage the Hybrid Cloud compute stack -Server Infrastructure, Hypervisor, Operating System, Storage, Public Cloud and associated applications and tools in client environments and in the CTOC hosted Private Government Cloud (PGC).

This role is a permanent position and requires the candidate to be an Australian Citizen with an NV1 AGSVA clearance due to the urgency of the need and the type of information being managed.

Primary Duties

• Support, maintain and manage the technical aspects of a managed solution.
• Work independently, with general direction from the client, stakeholders, team lead or senior manager, to perform operational tasks to resolve all incidents / requests within the agreed SLA, whilst also providing regular and consistent updates of tickets with resolution tasks performed.
• Proactively identify, investigate and analyse issues and errors prior to or when they occur and log all such incidents in a timely manner. Capture all required and relevant information for immediate resolution.
• Act as an escalation point for high priority incidents and requests and identify the root cause of incidents and problems. Assist L1-L3 Engineers in the resolution of complex tickets, share the resolution process by documenting the steps taken to ensure the transfer of knowledge to more junior engineers.
• Plan, coordinate and implement complex system changes within client specified change windows. Liaise with the client, vendors, and other partners to ensure minimal disruption to the client’s day-to-day business operations.
• Maintain detailed, accurate technical documentation and operational procedures for supported solutions.
• Assist with project delivery to ensure projects deliver to the stated business benefits. Facilitate operational handover.
• Assist with on-boarding of new clients into Managed Services support.
• Mentor L1-L3 Engineers offering technical expertise / guidance.
• Operate within Security and Compliance frameworks.

PAM: Thycotic / XTAM

Experience

8+ years’ experience in the core technologies

5+ years’ experience in two or more of the specialisations

Managed Services experience

Excellent knowledge and experience in ticketing tools, preferably Service Now
