Summary of Objective:
The Maintenance, Reliability, Operations Coordinator ensures accurate and timely inventory management of materials used in the manufacturing process. This role maintains spare parts availability through effective use of a CMMS system, supports maintenance and production teams, and upholds operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and control spare parts inventory using CMMS to ensure parts availability for work order completion
Coordinate with Purchasing and Payables on scheduling and confirming part deliveries
Perform electronic transactions for issuing, reserving, and closing materials to jobs
Process and close manufacturing jobs; record production quantities
Physically and electronically move inventory and maintain accurate labeling
Conduct cycle counts, stock checks, and periodic physical inventory counts
Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, performing root-cause investigations
Maintain replacement parts inventory for critical components
Update maintenance manuals, system documentation, and downtime logs
Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and system service logs
Collaborate with main office Spare Parts Coordinator to order new components
Accurately document all predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities
Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient math skills, including ratios, percentages, and conversions
Experience with CMMS, manufacturing, or distribution software preferred
Ability to troubleshoot and escalate issues effectively
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Proficient with Microsoft Office and database systems
Strong teamwork skills; able to interact with multiple levels of staff and management
High School Diploma or GED required; relevant technical or trade experience preferred
Experience with computer-based inventory management systems
Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
