  • Review real-time and logged vehicle data to monitor and communicate issues and potential performance enhancements to appropriate race team members, including power and fuel usage strategies

  • Collaborate with vehicle engineers providing calibration of control systems such as pit-speed limiters, traction control, and shifting upgrades

  • Participate in debriefing sessions with other propulsion and race team members to propose advancements, document issues, and prioritize follow-up activities

  • Compile and present propulsion data to team managers for presentation to sanctioning bodies when requested

  • Create daily and post-event reports summarizing propulsion-related data, results, issues, and concerns for each race car

What You’ll Need (Required Qualifications)

  • Outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with varying levels of key internal and external partners

  • Exceptional work ethic and integrity

What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Prior Motorsports experience. Collegiate programs such as Formula SAE, Baja, or personal hobby engagement are acceptable.

  • Prior race engine hardware and controls experience (examples: PID tuning; torque-based control strategy; fuel and spark; traction control; gearbox shifting calibration)
