At MaintainX, Motion and Video means more than just visuals, it’s how we express our mission to keep the physical world running. Our motion design team plays a central role in connecting our product to people through storytelling, clarity, and creativity. We turn complex industrial ideas into simple, human, and inspiring visuals that help MaintainX stand out in a crowded B2B space.

We are looking for a Motion Designer who can contribute across the entire video and motion graphics pipeline, from concept to final export. In this role, you will create motion graphics, edit video content, adapt assets for multiple formats, and support a wide range of marketing and product initiatives. You will work closely with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to translate ideas into compelling visuals that communicate clearly and effectively.

This role combines creativity, technical execution, and collaboration. You will help produce video ads, explainers, GIFs, and other motion-driven assets while also handling essential post-production tasks such as editing, color grading, audio, and aspect-ratio adaptations.

As the team continues to grow, this position offers room for creative impact, process improvement, and greater ownership over how motion is integrated across our brand and product. Strong communication skills, organization, and a user-focused mindset are essential to succeed in this role.

  • Prepare content in various aspect ratios such as 16:9, 1:1, 9:16 and 4:5.
Video Editing and Post-Production:
  • Edit footage into cohesive and visually appealing videos for marketing, product demos, and internal content.
  • Add transitions, typography, animation accents, and visual elements to support clarity and storytelling.
  • Perform color correction and grading to maintain a cohesive and professional look.
  • Handle audio cleanup, leveling, and basic sound design.
Production Workflow and Collaboration:
  • Maintain clean and organized project files following team standards.
  • Ensure consistent visual quality across all motion and video deliverables.
  • Communicate clearly with the stakeholders to understand project needs, gather feedback, and ensure smooth handoffs and alignment throughout the production process.

About you:

  • 2-4 years of experience in motion design, video editing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Experience creating visual designs, layouts, or graphics needed for video content.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of motion graphics and video projects.
  • Solid working knowledge of Figma for handling UI assets and integrating design elements.
  • Experience with technical or product-focused storytelling, including SaaS and UI motion.
  • Understanding of animation principles.
  • Experience with color correction, audio cleanup, and export workflows.
  • Experience with AI tools for video or motion design workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, open to feedback and iteration.
  • Advanced English proficiency (C1 level or higher).

Nice to have:

  • Experience with DaVinci Resolve.
  • Ability to create and manage MOGRTs (Motion Graphics Templates).
