Mortgage Warehouse Specialist is responsible for file-level activity related to individual loan fundings, including file review, wire requests, and customer communication
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as primary day-to-day contact for customer inquiries
- Confirm receipt of required documents for each advance
- Verify accuracy of submitted data against supporting documents
- Execute fraud check, OFAC inquiry or other applicable processes for bank transactions
- Collect counter-signatures from designated officer(s)
- Confirm transmission of wires as necessary
- Back up collateral specialist functions, when needed
- Ensures all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, general business correspondence and/or journals or government regulations
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to write routine reports and business correspondence
Education and/or Experience
- HS Diploma/GED
- 1-3 year experience in mortgage banking or financial services environment
