Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing pitchbooks, Opportunity Assessment Memos (OAMs), Balance Sheet Forum templates, and Loan Agreement Compliance Reports
Works directly with Relationship Managers, Product Specialists, Investment Bank and Participation/Syndication teams to evaluate/consider opportunities for deepening relationships and aggregates all information for cohesive presentation to client
Evaluate customer provided financial and production reports while interpreting loan agreement definitions and credit policy guidelines
Understand mortgage originators’ business and financial processes and channels
Monitor mortgage originator compliance
Responsible for staying up to date on Mortgage Finance Initiatives and Industry Guidance/Updates
Special Projects across the Line of Business, as needed
Develop and maintain client tracking reports and recommend actions based on the data
Key Competences:
Knowledge of ABL loan structures, collateral management and borrowing base calculations
Strong attention to detail
Good organizational skills
Solid communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with clients and teammates
Familiarity with regulatory and underwriting requirements related to ABL, such as UCC filings and collateral audits, is a plus
High level of Excel pivot table design with a strong preference for SQL programming skills
Work Experience:
Completed a form credit training program
3-5 years of experience in financial analysis in Commercial Bank (focus on Mortgage Finance preferred)
Proficiency in financial systems and software, with advanced skills in Excel
Knowledge of Mortgage Finance loan structures and collateral management
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related areas
