Middle Frontend (Angular) Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Middle Frontend (Angular) Engineer to join a high-impact, strategic technology initiative. Our mission is to evolve a core business application for a market-leading enterprise, proactively transforming the platform into a secure, maintainable, and high-performance architecture. 

As a vital member of the frontend team, you will collaborate with senior engineers to support the complex, multi-version migration from Angular 6 to Angular 20. You will be a key hands-on contributor, focused on refactoring components, resolving deprecations, and ensuring the UI is stable and responsive as we move to a modern architecture.

 

What you'll do:

• Actively participate in the hands-on, version-by-version migration of the frontend codebase from Angular 6 to Angular 20.
• Assist in identifying and resolving breaking changes, deprecations, and required code refactors at each stage of the upgrade, following the established plan.
• Refactor components, including custom PrimeNG elements and mixed form patterns (Template-driven and Reactive), under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Help replace incompatible and deprecated third-party JavaScript libraries with modern, supported equivalents.
• Collaborate with the backend team to integrate and test new APIs as the frontend becomes fully decoupled.
• Partner with the QA team to test, validate, and debug refactored components and user flows to ensure high quality.
  
  

What we're looking for:

• Solid professional experience as a Frontend Engineer working on complex Angular applications.
• Strong, hands-on knowledge of Angular (v7+), TypeScript, HTML5, and modern CSS/SCSS.
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining component-based applications.
• Experience with (or a strong desire to learn) complex Angular migrations is a major plus.
• Familiarity with Angular 6 is an advantage.
• Experience with component libraries (e.g., PrimeNG, Material) is highly desirable.
• A good understanding of Angular's module system, routing, and change detection.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• Exceptional command of written and spoken English.
