You will ensure the performance, maintainability, and optimization of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations ecosystem. You will drive the technical aspects of the ERP platform across an international scope and oversee the technological transition to Microsoft’s new solutions (Power Platform, Unified Experience).

Release Cycle & DevOps Management

  • Oversee the complete release cycle via Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS): planning, deployment, validation, and monitoring of updates.
  • Lead the development team by managing sprint schedules and ensuring the quality of deliverables.
  • Manage environments (provisioning, configuration) in line with business needs.
  • Administer source control in Azure DevOps (branches, pull requests, merge strategies, code reviews).
  • Automate deployments by implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing deployable packages, and orchestrating releases.
  • Oversee application lifecycle – coordinate major and minor updates, plan upgrades, and ensure compatibility.

Technological Transition & Innovation

  • Prepare and lead the migration from LCS to the Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC) – evaluation, planning, execution, and validation.
  • Support adoption of the Unified Developer Experience (UDE) by training teams and implementing new unified environments.
  • Integrate Finance & Operations environments with Dataverse and the Power Platform to ensure consistency and interoperability.
  • Maintain a technology watch – stay abreast of Microsoft platform updates, anticipate deprecations, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Cost and Performance Optimization

  • Optimize Dynamics 365 licensing costs – analyze usage, recommend optimizations, and manage licensing.
  • Manage and optimize Dataverse storage – monitor capacity, implement retention policies, perform bulk deletions, and ensure long-term archiving.
  • Ensure ERP system performance – implement best practices, optimize queries, and tune environments.
  • Monitor system health – deploy monitoring and diagnostic tools, analyze performance metrics.

Architecture & Maintainability

  • Define and maintain the ERP technical architecture in alignment with other Information System components.
  • Ensure system maintainability – uphold technical documentation, enforce coding standards, and conduct architecture reviews.
  • Coordinate integrations – manage APIs, web services, middleware, and connectors.

Support & Expertise

  • Provide level 3 technical support – resolve complex incidents and perform advanced troubleshooting.
  • Train and coach teams – share knowledge, develop skills, and facilitate knowledge transfer.
  • Collaborate with Microsoft Support teams to resolve critical issues.

Your profile

Master’s degree (Bac+5 or equivalent) with experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and the Power Platform. You are curious, enjoy working in a team on major projects, and handle your tasks with rigor.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5 to 8 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (or earlier AX versions).
  • Proven experience managing complex ERP projects on an international scale.
  • Demonstrated expertise using Microsoft Lifecycle Services (LCS) for application lifecycle management.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for source control and deployments.
