Microbiology Technician

Job Description:

Develops and implements testing, sampling and inspection procedures on raw materials, equipment, in-process materials, and/or finished products to ensure that product specifications and company and regulatory requirements are met. Investigates and troubleshoots functionality and performance problems. Recommends corrective action when appropriate. May monitor and execute on-site equipment and tools calibration.

Job Requirements:

• College degree or above, preferably in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Medical Laboratory Science, Pharmacy, or related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a microbiology lab; experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
• Basic understanding of GMP, ISO 13485, Chinese Pharmacopoeia, and related regulations/standards.
• Familiar with basic microbiological testing techniques and aseptic operation awareness.
• Proficient in using common lab equipment such as microscopes, biosafety cabinets, incubators, and sterilizers.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office) for data entry and simple analysis.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, with good execution and teamwork skills.
• Basic English reading/writing skills; ability to understand professional terminology is a plus.
