We are seeking an experienced MES AI Technical Lead to drive the deployment, integration, and scaling of Artificial Intelligence within our Manufacturing Execution System (MES). This role is pivotal to advancing our digital transformation strategy, with an initial focus on Visual Inspection (VI) and other critical manufacturing process steps.

The MES AI Technical Lead will work across global sites to accelerate AI adoption, enhance internal capability, and ensure successful implementation of cutting-edge models within production workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead AI rollout across identified Visual Inspection process steps with expansion potential across additional manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with the Head of AI and cross-functional engineering, quality, operations, and manufacturing teams to define and execute AI deployment strategies.
  • Coordinate with AI external partners to support concurrent model deployment across multiple global facilities.
  • Conduct on-site assessments and deployment support at six manufacturing locations, identifying integration opportunities and ensuring successful model implementation within MES.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including integration guides, training materials, and best practices that strengthen long-term internal AI capability.
  • Mentor and train internal engineers and technicians on AI tools, troubleshooting techniques, deployment workflows, and sustaining AI within MES environments.
  • Support hybrid collaboration, balancing on-site presence with remote work and remaining flexible for evening calls to accommodate global time zones.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in MES, industrial automation, AI/ML deployment, or related technical leadership roles.
  • Hands-on experience with computer vision, model deployment, or factory automation platforms (Landing AI experience is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, quality control processes, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical programs and manage multi-site rollouts.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Manufacturing Systems, or a related technical field required.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred but not required.

Pay Range:

P70-USA-1 :$130,850.00 - $186,900.00
