Job Description

Title:

Merchandising Vault, E-Commerce Product Specialist

Role and Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Merchandising Vault Product Specialist to serve as support to all cross-functional departments. This candidate will be the primary collaborator between the Merchandising Vault, Product Development, E-Commerce, and Creative teams to ensure dy.com photography standards are being adhered to. The candidate will also work closely with Finance and Security   to manage, track and maintain detailed records of inventory.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Photography Studio
  • Responsible for managing Dy.com photography calendar
  • Partner with the Studio Operations Manager to receive, review, and organize the initial photography shot list via Monday.com
  • Update turnovers in Monday.com to reflect product movement, shoot status, and availability
  • Ensure all products are accurately photographed prior to launch and distribution
    • Create and manage product schedule to achieve launch and/or company deadlines
    • Partner with PE/PD to ensure accurate samples are
  • Operations
  • Review warehouse and retail store inventory to confirm product availability for e-commerce orders and internal requests.
  • Process and upload orders and track all related inventory movements.
  • Oversee the systematic return of units once photography is completed, ensuring items are correctly reallocated to NJW and Retail stores.
  • Develop expertise in the systematic functionalities of Oracle to have accurate visibility to merchandise 
  • Provides support to Public Relations, Wholesale, and Retail including systematical processing of memos, transfers, and returns
  • Assist with trade show preparation, including accurate inventory transfers of new product, sample line building, master line upkeep, and showroom coverage as needed
  • Assist with quarterly physical inventories
  • Comply with company guidelines for transporting products, both internally and externally
  • Ensure proper care and handling of all merchandise and company assets

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge working in inventory management
  • Experienced in working with jewelry, gemstones and precious metals
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong ability to multitask
  • Demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail
  • High degree of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive materials
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge in jewelry and precious gemstones a plus
  • Oracle experience a plus
  • Monday.com experience a plus

Education

  • BS/BA in Business, Merchandising, or related field of study

Working mode In Office – NYC; No travel expected

Estimated Base Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Base pay is one component of David Yurman’s total compensation package, which may also include the following for eligible employees: access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan, bonus, employee discounts, Summer Fridays (corporate roles), generous paid time off, sick time, and more.
