About the Role

This job has direct responsibility to evaluate and analyze medical information and risk factor from health insurance applications to determine coverage eligibility. Supervise and control responsible work to ensure the delivers of quality and efficient operations which involved problem solving to maintain the standard and regulations of the company.

Main Responsibilities:

• Underwrite NB & POS both Medical and Non-Med cases, from agency channel and non-agency channel (e.g. Credit life, SBA.) 

• Handle appeal case and review/ reconsider appeal cases, explain, offer, and give more alternative to agent, include prepare case to committee.

• Be consultant of the team including support and advice U&P underwriter in complicate case.

• Assist and support head in providing daily data to monitor the efficiency and productivity of own area.

• Staying updated on medical advances, underwriting practices, sharing, brush up and changes in regulations and company standards.

• Responsible for other relating tasks as assigned to align with business policy and build long term business growth.
