Typical Accountabilities
• Execute Local Strategy: Work with the Sales Manager to implement the local strategy and existing sales plans for the Rare Disease portfolio. Focus on executing specific actions to realize key opportunities in accordance with the current brand plan.
• Relationship Continuity (KEEs): Maintain and strengthen established relationships with Key External Experts (KEEs) to ensure performance goals are met and a competitive advantage is sustained throughout the contract duration.
• Cross-functional Implementation: Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the effective implementation of brand plans and provide timely, high-frequency feedback on market dynamics.
• Drive Short-term Performance: Drive immediate sales performance to ensure sales forecasts and assigned budgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations for the 6-month period.
• Territory Knowledge Management: Rapidly develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of market, demographic, and managed markets information relative to the assigned sales territory.
• Compliance: Comply strictly with all regulations regarding interactions with healthcare professionals (HCPs), distribution of samples, and other industry guidelines.
• Ad-hoc Support: Perform other duties within the position’s scope as assigned by the Line Manager to support team objectives.
