The Medical Informatics Manager / Clinical Data Manager supports clinical studies and innovation initiatives by overseeing the collection, management, and quality of clinical and digital health data. This role partners closely with cross‑functional teams to deploy and scale novel digital endpoints, ensures data integrity and regulatory compliance, and contributes to the design and improvement of clinical data pipelines across multiple therapeutic areas.
What You Will Be Doing:
Acts as the Data Management point of contact for Biomeasures Endpoints and Study Technologies (BEST) initiatives and supported clinical studies
Oversees mapping of local study dictionaries to CDISC and internal data standards
Leads and contributes to the development of operational data management plans to ensure data quality and completeness
Develops, implements, and oversees data quality checks, validation activities, and issue resolution
Partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to understand evolving project needs and ensure integration with internal systems and requirements across a broad range of disease areas
Provides technical expertise for the design, implementation, and scaling of sensor-based systems and analytics
As a medical informatics leader, ensures collection, organization, curation, storage, and safeguarding of patient data in compliance with 21 CFR Part 11
Contributes to and influences the architecture of data pipelines and workflows, recommending and implementing process improvements
Tracks emerging study data and collaborates with data science teams to ensure tool effectiveness and data integrity
Manages priorities and timelines to meet agreed project deliverables
Operates under general direction, exercising judgment and autonomy within established procedures
Shares insights and learnings with internal stakeholders and the broader scientific community through presentations and peer-reviewed publications
Your Profile:
Degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
5+ years of experience in clinical data management or medical informatics
Hands-on experience with EDC platforms (e.g., REDCap, Medidata Rave, Oracle Clinical)
Strong knowledge of clinical data standards (e.g., CDISC, MedDRA) and GCP
Experience across the clinical data lifecycle (CRFs, data validation, discrepancy management, database lock)
Technical proficiency with Python, Git, and cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS)
Strong collaboration and communication skills within matrixed teams
Experience supporting digital health technologies or sensor-based data in clinical trials
Experience working with large datasets and modern data pipelines
Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL and distributed data processing environments
