Position Summary
You will lead local medical activities for specialty therapy areas in the Philippines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external healthcare experts. - Develop and implement local medical strategies and customer engagement plans for assigned specialty therapy areas.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with healthcare professionals and external clinical experts.
- Lead medical education activities, advisory boards, and scientific exchanges aligned with medical governance.
- Support clinical research and evidence generation activities, including observational studies and post‑marketing research.
- Review and approve scientific, promotional and non‑promotional materials to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide medical input to cross-functional teams for launch planning, lifecycle management, and reimbursement discussions.
Why You?
Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:
- Medical Doctor, Pharmacist, or MSc/PhD in Life Sciences.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Medical Affairs or a related role in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience engaging with healthcare professionals and key external experts.
- Proven ability to deliver medical education, advisory boards, or scientific meetings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Experience in specialty therapeutic areas such as respiratory, immunology, or related fields.
- Experience in clinical research, protocol development, or study management.
- Familiarity with medical governance, regulatory, and pharmacovigilance processes.
- Project management skills and experience managing budgets.
- Prior experience working in the Philippines healthcare environment.
- Additional language skills relevant to local markets.
Working model
This role is hybrid, combining time in the office with flexible remote working. On-site presence will be required for team collaboration and external engagement activities.
