The Medical Affairs Manager is a forward-looking health expert who drive diagnostics innovation and its implementation into diagnostics routine, areas: neurology / infectious diseases In this role you will provide state of the art medical insights into the therapeutic area to the local and international teams. You will create value by improving patient pathways.
The Opportunity:
Enable medical standards of care applied by HCP correspond to the latest medical knowledge
Develop and execute medical affairs strategy, initiates and executes medical initiatives for Poland and export countries
Engage and partner with clinical stakeholders, develop a network of relevant KOLs and stakeholders
Map patient journey and influence its transformation towards the innovative diagnostic solutions
Shape the therapeutic areas focused non product related expertise and discussion (national consultants/KOL on national level).
Continuously expand the medical and scientific knowledge as well as market knowledge
Verify and approve scientific content for symposia / workshops/publications/promotional materials
Approve medical educational grants
Who you are:
You have a strong focus on Medical Affairs
You are an expert that can translate the development in their domain(s) into strategy
You have the ability to learn and transfer new scientific content quickly,
You have the ability to search, critically analyze and present medical data
You have a creative-mindset focused on continuous improvement
You have excellent understanding of medical needs and system capabilities to properly identify unmet medical need
You provide in-depth specialist knowledge and may coach colleagues and help others develop expertise/skills
You are able to facilitate high level health stakeholders interactions
You bring Agile mindset and ways of working
You are solution- and customer-orientation
Expertise:
Deep knowledge and insights of Evidence Based Medicine principles
Therapeutic area knowledge
5 years of relevant experience
Experience in a clinical / medical work environment
Relevant medical university degree or deep scientific expertise, MD or PhD is an advantage
Experience in managing relationships with high level KOL
Network of KOL in the given therapeutic area
Good analytical skills
Proficient in Polish and English
