As Medical Advisor within our Global Medical Services, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting global and local teams across the portfolio of a specific therapeutic area (TA). This role involves driving strategic initiatives and innovation; leading content development, literature reviews, and insights generation; and contributing to strategic planning, operational execution, and cross-functional collaboration across Medical and Communications Operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific background and deep expertise in the relevant therapeutic area, demonstrated leadership skills, and a strong commitment to advancing medical knowledge and improving patient care.

Main responsibilities:

  • Review and contribute to scientific communications, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with medical strategy.
  • Provide oversight and contributions to content development and lifecycle management by mapping and requesting content needs aligned with global franchise and country medical roadmaps.
  • Localize and customize medical content developed by global teams to ensure relevance for regional use, communications, and launches.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards across all medical materials and activities.
  • Contribute to the development of accurate medical and scientific documents in collaboration with the Sanofi Global Hub.
  • Engage with medical and commercial teams across assigned regions to ensure alignment on key initiatives, participating in cross-functional meetings with regulatory, clinical, and commercial stakeholders to provide medical insights.
  • Support quality control, scientific accuracy, and strategic alignment by reviewing, adapting, and approving scientific content developed by the Medical Hub.

About you

  • Experience: More than three years of experience supporting international pharmaceutical companies across medical affairs, clinical development, pharmacovigilance, and other medical/development functions, including evidence generation, medical writing, clinical research methodologies, and medical communications. Solid knowledge of rare blood disorders is a must.
  • Soft skills: Strong stakeholder management skills, high analytical capabilities and strategic thinking.
  • Technical skills: Experience working with Veeva PromoMats and solid knowledge of rare blood disorders.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medicine.
  • Languages: Advanced English level.
