Purpose
To plan, execute and supervise preventive/corrective maintenance work to ensure the highest reliability and availability of the plants and facilities while maintaining the highest safety standards during work execution.
Nature and scope
This position will base at Pengerang Johor, requires the candidate to perform day-to-day operation & maintenance to Air Products facilities – but also possibly extend to other Gen Gas and Hydrogen plants at central region.
The incumbent shall follow work instruction for startup/shutdown plant/equipment; with specified quality met and maintain/improve the plant reliability.
He/she shall provide feedback to superiors if there is any tasks that need improvement.
The person shall perform SAP tasks to achieve highest completion of PM task within the deadline and breakdown maintenance activities to maintain plant machinery and equipment in reliable and efficient running condition, OBC.
In the event of plant upset, the person shall attend to the problem and help the team member and superior to resolve issue as soon as possible to reduce downtime of equipment.
The person is responsible for proper care and maintenance of tools allocated, assists in bill of material preparation for all modifications / installations and notifies for the necessary purchase requisition.
The person will ensure all safety and ISO procedures are adhered to at all time.
The candidate shall obtain NIOSH confine space qualification to carry out confine space work in the plants. Qualification – AESP and ES/AGT.
The person will need to supervise contractor and manage contractor safety.
When require, the person will need to provide mechanical support to commissioning team in Central Malaysia area.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
To be responsible for daily plant maintenance (schedule/breakdown) on all company plants so that plant downtime is kept at a minimum.
To perform alignment and overhaul on machinery equipment. ie pump to motor, fan to motor. Ensure minimum vibration on equipment.
To work closely with production personnel on timing of regular preventive maintenance programs and responsible for carrying out such programs.
To perform regular machinery condition monitoring [i.e. vibration check, temperature, sound check, oil top up, oil replacement, greasing and etc], assess their reliability and inform plant engineer/manager of any abnormalities.
To carry out regular inspection on plant equipment and assess their reliability and inform plant engineer/manager of any abnormalities.
To be responsible for proper and schedule maintenance / repairs procedures / operations have been carried out and documentation been filled up and kept.
To carry out periodic preventive maintenance on plants and pipelines. Practice good housekeeping at customer site, workshop and plant areas and follow safety practices.
Follow ISO9001 procedures and work instruction, work with superior to maintain and improve the process.
To ensure proper care of maintenance of tools and its allocation. He is also responsible for the workshop housekeeping
To report any abnormalities in plant operating condition/issues to shift supervisor/plant engineer

Coordinate the planning, development and implementation of recovery, repair, and preventive maintenance procedures to maintain system operation.
To support eMOC issuance, FMEA analysis, HIRARC, Risk Analysis, RCM work, Operator Basis Care, Autonomous maintenance activities, continuous improvement project and etc
Facilitate audits processes to assess the compliances of AP On site operations activities against to AP’s standard or relevant applicable standards (i.e., ISO standards, AP Corporate EHS audits, customer audits).
To perform other duties applicable as instructed by superior
