Mechanical Maintenance Officer

Pakistan - Sindh - Karachi Full time

You will write technical documents, help deliver equipment projects from installation to handover, and work closely with cross-functional partners. Responsibilities

- Support equipment projects from design through installation, commissioning and handover, working with suppliers and contractors.

- Assist in validation activities and ensure documentation supports regulatory and quality needs.
- Contribute to maintenance planning and the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

- Plan, execute, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance of all mechanical systems on the production floor, ensuring PM checklist adherence, OEE achievement.

- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, records, and documentation for audits and traceability.

- Liaise with Production, Utility, and Engineering Stores to ensure effective maintenance planning and inventory control.

- Identify and contribute to cost-saving initiatives and Operational Excellence projects.

Education, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or related field.
- Basic understanding of quality, safety and regulatory standards in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong spoken and written English and Urdu; clear communication and teamwork skills.
- Prior experience with packaging, packaging testing or packaging design projects.
- Experience with CMMS systems and asset management.
- Exposure to project coordination with suppliers and contractors.

Working arrangement
This position is on-site at our Pakistan manufacturing location. Occasional local travel between sites or to supplier locations may be required
