Role Summary:
This role will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Mechanical systems during assigned shifts to ensure uninterrupted production, safe operations, and quick resolution of Mechanical Breakdowns.
Roles and Responsibility:
Operations & Maintenance
Operate and monitor Mechanical Systems including Process Equipment, EOT, Pneumatic Conveying System, etc.
Operate and oversee Mechanical Utility Systems such as HVAC, STP, WTP, RO, Fire Pump Room, Air Compressor System, Cooling Tower etc.
Ensure smooth operations with continuous observation of system parameters and alarms.
Maintain optimum load management and implement energy‑efficient practices across utilities.
Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, Proactive Maintenance and minor repairs
Maintain proper load management and energy efficiency.
Maintain the Documents like SOP, Logbook, Test reports, calibration reports, ISO documents Etc.
Maintain AMC contracts for equipment and ensure availability of critical spares.
Ensure adherence to OEM recommendations and statutory guidelines during maintenance.
Breakdown & Trouble Shooting
Attend all mechanical breakdowns promptly and restore operations with minimum downtime.
Perform systematic troubleshooting and root cause analysis for repeated failures.
Coordinate with OEMs and external vendors for major mechanical issues, repairs, or replacements.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all statutory safety norms and mechanical safety procedures.
Ensure strict usage of PPE and adherence to LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) procedures during maintenance.

Statutory Regulations – PESO, Inspector of Factories, Lift license, Emission reports, water reports etc
Site Safety Rules
Report on unsafe conditions, near‑misses, and incidents immediately as part of the safety culture
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain shift logbooks and daily mechanical checklists
Record breakdown details, maintenance activities, and meter readings like water consumption, chemical consumption, Etc
Update preventive maintenance records and work permits
Handover shift activities clearly to the next shift
Coordination & Support
Coordinate with Electrical, IT and BMS teams
Support project execution, shutdown activities, and audits
Assist in testing, commissioning, and energization of new installations
Requirement:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (capable of handling utilities & process equipment).
4-6 Years in relevant field of experience.
Female candidates are preferred first.
Knowledge of Mechanical drawing like P&ID, plant Mechanical systems & Isometric drawing.
Hands-on experience in fault finding and safe isolation procedures
Good communication and coordination skills
