Job Description
As part of the mechanical team in Engineering, you will help follow activities:
- Use 3D CAD tools to design plastic and metal parts for electronic boxes
- Support rapid testing to validate design requirements
- Support design troubleshooting and implementing solutions
- Support parts fabrication, product assembly, and production processes
- Prepare technical drawings, design reports, test plans, and documentation
- Collaborate with the Quality team to ensure product quality and reliability
You will report to Mechanical Engineering manager based in Singapore.
Your Responsibilities:
- You have experience with stress and strain evaluation for plastic and metal designs
- Familiarity with 3D printing technologies and rapid prototyping techniques
- You will Assist in designing mechanical tests for design verification
- Understanding of plastic molding and metal fabrication processes
- Awareness of design principles that facilitate assembly and production
- Basic knowledge of electromechanical connectors and troubleshooting
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering
- 1–2 years of experience in mechanical design of plastic and metal parts for electronic products (internship experience is acceptable)
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Exposure to computer modelling and simulation tools (e.g., Ansys)
- Familiarity with shock and vibration testing methods
- You will work with diverse teams to meet project timelines
