In order to support the Materials & Processes (M&P) Team, Airbus Commercial is looking for an
The position is located in a dynamic transnational team within the Engineering domain of Materials, Processes and Tests. The work is focused on Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) for production perimeter applications, covering development aspects, technology development, technical qualification and support to quality escapes.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Development and implementation of non-destructive testing (NDT) methods for the production of structural components for all Airbus programs in time, cost and quality
Technical qualification of new non-destructive testing tasks at Airbus production plants as well as at risk sharing partners and suppliers worldwide
Resolving technical queries that arise in production plants, stress domain, RSPs or subcontractors
Preparation and maintenance of specifications for non-destructive testing (AITM)
Assessment of process deviations in non-destructive testing for all Airbus plants and for all suppliers worldwide
Contribution to Airbus internal projects as well as national and international research projects for the development and optimization of NDT methods
Desired skills and qualifications
Degree in Aircraft Design, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent
Profound experience in NDT techniques, on a minimum of 2 techniques among UT, ET, PT, MT, RT and CT
Robust knowledge in the field of materials, processes, tests and technical qualification
Team spirit and customer orientation
Excellent command of English (written and spoken), good German skills are a plus
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
