As a Material Scheduler, you will perform some of the following you will
execute Materials Requirements Planning across entire horizon of the Manufacturing Resource Plan for selected work centers within a single site in the GSK Manufacturing network. To run the Performance Management process for incoming materials deliveries for a single site within the GSK Manufacturing network. To monitor, maintain, and ensure complete accuracy of all critical data fields related to incoming materials.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
Maintenance of accurate incoming delivery data so systems can be used to plan production.
Focus on material availability as per the production schedule requirements.
Execution of an incoming delivery Scripted Week to supply the Production Fixed Frequency Repeating Schedule
(FFRS) with any components required.
Measurement of supplier performance in various KPIs through performance management.
Constant monitoring, maintenance and complete accuracy of all Supply critical fields within all data systems related
to materials for which the Materials Scheduler is responsible.
Identification and mitigation of stock at risk and working with key support functions in processing any inventory write
off requests.
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Associates Degree
3+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or Customer Service operation
Experience managing third party logistics providers
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
Qualification in a Commerce / Business / supply chain related discipline, logistics, supply management, demand management, operational management desirable
Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English.
Good interpersonal skills and interface with all level of staffs internally and externally.
Knowledge of Logistics (inbound freight/Customs/Warehouse/Road Distribution and planning activities)
Good knowledge of Materials Management, Scheduling and supply chain processes
Advanced level Excel skills required
Highly numerate with knowledge of planning/scheduling systems
Time management and prioritization skills
Ability to assimilate information from different sources to generate achievable plans
Attention to detail with ability to work under pressure
Good organizational skills

GSK’s Zebulon site is a global supplier of Respiratory and Solid Dose medicines to patients around the globe and the largest GSK Pharmaceutical secondary manufacturing site in North America.
