Raytheon is seeking an experienced Material Program Manager (MPM) to support the EOIR team. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, capable of supporting and executing organizational and program objectives, and able to successfully interface with all levels of internal management and supplier management. The MPM is the single point of contact between management and internal customers, including the Program Office, Quality, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Contracts.  The MPM will represent the Supply Chain organization on policies, strategies, and objectives, oversee all supply chain management (SCM) activities needed to meet program requirements, and ensure a strong link between various Supply Chain functions, including Sourcing, Logistics, and Production Control. This position requires an individual who will be able to influence others to execute the overall objectives and long-range goals of the program.

What You Will Do

  • Create, manage and execute material program strategy (MPS) and the material program plan (MPP).

  • Identify synergies between awarded contractual scope procurements across EOIR​.

  • Monitor, track, manage and reduce key Supply Chain metrics: PR to PO, Late to Dock, Non-Support Futures, etc.  Track and report progress to 100% PO placement & manage to point of liquidation.

  • Support the Acquisition community in obtaining information from the Programs.

  • Overall material management for the program; maintaining statistical data related to the program health which includes cost, schedule, quality metrics and EVMS.

  • Maintain accurate Investment Sales Forecasts, Sales and Operating Plans, and Annual Operating Plans.

  • Develop and execute risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives.

  • Flow down Supplier Management Best Practices to suppliers which include risk mitigation and subcontract management plans.

  • Collaborate with other programs to maximize efficiency of program execution including commonality.

  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly during Program Performance Reviews.

  • Influence others to achieve overall objectives and long-range goals of the program.

  • Utilize analytical skills to evaluate end-to-end planning and identify constraints, risks, and opportunities.

  • Less than 10% of domestic travel is required.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience.

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in supply chain, finance, operations, project management, and/or program management role. 

  • Experience in Material Forecasting, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Material Estimate at Complete (EAC), and/or Earned Value (EV).

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Supplier management experience (PO placement, proposal reviews, Best Value Source Selections, Competition) 

  • Earned Value Management (EVM) certification or equivalent.

  • Experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)

  • Supply chain experience in the Aerospace or Defense industry

  • Experience with government regulations (ie FAR/DFAR, ITAR/EAR, TINA, etc).

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
