Your Opportunity:
Taylor Corporation is looking for a Material Handler I.
This location adheres to the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA).
All employees must undergo a federal background check, which requires U.S. citizenship.
Your Responsibilities:
• Unload and stage incoming shipments using material handling equipment
• Prepare and break down inbound shipments to validate accuracy
• Put away product into correct locations using MHE
• Pull orders accurately using paper or electronic work orders
• Operate forklift and other material moving equipment as assigned
• Perform general warehouse housekeeping including sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash
• Follow all safety procedures while operating equipment and performing job duties
Shift:
• Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm
You Must Have:
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and use computer systems to track inventory
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to perform a variety of job assignments
• Basic computer skills
• Math skills including addition, subtraction, fractions, and decimals
• Ability and willingness to perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to consistently follow safety procedures
• Prior warehouse or receiving experience
Requirements Within This Position:
• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information with others
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constant operation of machinery and handling of products, including printed materials
• Frequently required to move throughout the facility
• Regularly lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25+ pounds
We Would Also Prefer:
• Experience in a production-related environment
