We’re looking for a skilled Master Technician to join our engineering team in Gloucester. You’ll bring expert technical knowledge while supporting the development of others as our fleet and depot environments continue to evolve.
Whether you're working in the depot or out on the road, this is a hands-on role where your technical knowledge keeps our community moving.
What you’ll be doing:
· Carrying out complex diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to PCV vehicles
· Using diagnostic equipment to identify and fix mechanical and electrical faults
· Supporting and mentoring engineering apprentices
· Assisting with vehicle issues both in the depot and out on the road
· Maintaining high safety, quality, and compliance standards across the fleet
What we’re looking for:
· Minimum Level 3 BTEC/NVQ (or equivalent) in HGV/PCV maintenance
· Demonstrable previous Engineering experience, with a vehicular focus i.e. bus, HGV / LGV, truck, haulage, automotive, plant, rail, farm etc
· Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults
· A proactive, safety-first mindset with attention to detail and pride in doing a job well
