Job Title: Inland Master Planner
Location: Costa Rica, Escazú
Modality: Hybrid, Monday to Friday, on call one Saturday per month.
The Inland Master Planner is responsible for ensuring continuous and efficient planning of inland transportation operations in Costa Rica. The role focuses on aligning demand forecasts, third-party transportation capacity, and asset utilization to support a stable and reliable operation.
Key responsibilities
Develop mid- and long-term inland capacity plans aligned with import and export forecasts.
Translate demand forecasts into detailed resource requirements (chassis, gensets).
Perform scenario planning to anticipate demand variability and operational disruptions.
Monitor and balance asset capacity across the inland network.
Ensure alignment between planning and daily/weekly operations.
Act as central point of coordination between inland operations, terminal planners, sales, and customer experience.
Ensure full visibility, tracking, and optimal utilization of inland assets.
Drive continuous improvement using performance data and operational insights.
What we are looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles.
Strong background in land transportation and transportation planning.
Experience coordinating third-party transportation providers.
Strong analytical and planning skills.
Intermediate level of English for regional communication.
Proficiency in Excel; Power BI is desirable.
