Master Data Trainee (Item Data Management)

The Hempel Group is a leader in the production and sale of industrial paints. Today, we have 10 research units, 27 factories, 48 sales offices and more than 150 warehouses located in strategic locations around the world.

The Item Data Management Team is in charge of the creation of data globally in a centralized manner. We operate supporting all the regions.

Currently we are looking for Master Data Trainee (Item Data Management) to support our team members in the different activities related to the Item Master Creation process and other business-related matters.

Responsibilities

  • Support to create ,change and phase out items in D365 (and AX2009 for Argentina)

  • Support to insure that all products are created and maintained according to the item master template and agreed standard

  • Assisting in data alignment process between our different ERP systems

  • Ensure that master data rules are established and enforced

  • Participate in, and suggest new ways to standardize, and automated ways of managing item master data


Qualifications and competences

  • Students of 2nd/3rd/4th of studies in relevant to the role area (Chemical/Engineering/Logistics), but we are very open to the other areas as well

  • Good communication in English and Polish (verbal and written)

  • Interest in gaining experience in ERP systems e.g. Dynamics AX or D365

  • Detail-oriented and analytical mindset

  • Proactive, good team-player as well as personality, which is able to work without close supervision
