The role is a management position at State Street Taipei Branch within the Investment Services Division. The primary responsibility is to lead a team of master custody and clientservices professionals, including master custody and global custody clients, ensuring operational oversight, compliance and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Master Custody Operations Leadership

• The role involves guiding and overseeing the master custody operational

team under the Trust Unit.

• Responsibilities include managing end-to-end master custody processes,

ensuring operational oversight, and delivering accurate client reports.

2. Client Services Management

• The candidate will lead a team handing master custody and global custody

clients.

• Focus on maintaining service qualities and strong client relationships through

regular engagements, service reviews, and issue resolution.

3. Regulatory & Compliance Oversight

• Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal policies, minimize operational,

legal, and reputational risks, and reinforce ethical standards.

• Work closely with legal, risk, compliance and audit teams.

4. Operational Risk Management

• Monitor daily operations, identify key risk areas, and implement necessary

controls.

• Report significant issues to senior management and stakeholders for

immediate attention.

5. Team Development & Leadership

• Mentor and develop a high performing team to foster collaboration and

professional growth.

6. Industry Engagement & Market Awareness

• Attend industry events and associations to stay informed about market

trends and regulatory changes.

7. Project & Reporting Responsibilities

• Support management reporting (business reviews, regulatory reports, etc.).

• Lead projects or act as Project Manager when assigned.

8. Flexibility & Adaptability

• The role requires adaptability to changing responsibilities, management

shifts, and corporate strategies.

• Ability to take on ad-hoc assignments as needed.

Skills & Considerations

• Minimum of ten years of experience in trust operations within financial institutions.

• Leadership experience in master custody and global custody.

• Ability to work in an international environment.

• Strong interpersonal skills for cross-department communication.

• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel, with strong attention to details.

• Language proficiency in Mandarin and English
