About the Role

Teranet is currently looking for a Marketing Specialist.  This role is designed to support all marketing activities for the Financial Solutions and Legal Solutions lines of business within the Commercial Solutions divisions at Teranet.  This role is designed to be a key day-to-day partner to the Product team and will work closely with the Marketing Manager to execute the annual marketing plan.  You will develop targeted content and communications, manage the annual calendar of events and sponsorships and manage other activities that help drive success for customers and our business.  The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and can work equally well independently or within a team environment.

What You’ll Be Doing 

  • Manage the calendar of events and sponsorships, including end-to-end coordination of all related activities such as planning, logistics, communications, and internal alignment

  • Collaborate with Marketing Manager to understand the business objectives, product
    features and benefits that drive content strategy and the creation of collateral pieces,
    presentations, customer communications and social media campaigns.

  • Maintain budgets for all events and sponsorships.  

  • Create concise, engaging and compelling content across a range of media, including website copy, blog posts, social media content, thought leadership articles and product/sales information

  • Work with product and sales teams to develop customer insight strategy to find new areas for product development. 

  • Design and lead the creative development and implementation of direct marketing campaigns.

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales and product partners to build successful integrated
    marketing campaigns to generate desired business results and impact.

  • Plan and implement customer communications for the
    Financial Solutions and Legal Solutions divisions of Teranet.

  • Manage multiple projects and maintain balance between the tactical focus on
    implementation and the strategic focus for new marketing opportunities delivering them in a timely manner.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field

  • Minimum of 3 years Marketing experience

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, content management systems (CMS), and CRM software such as Salesforce

  • Superior project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and activities

  • Attention to detail and analytical skills along with the ability to present valuable insights

  • Strong execution and delivery skills with a customer-centric attitude

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience planning and leading initiatives

  • Working knowledge of marketing research and surveys

  • Team player with high energy and demonstrated initiative
