About The Role
HUB International has a dynamic Marketing Specialist role reporting to the AVP, Personal Insurance, Group to support Personal Insurance across Ontario. What You’ll Do
Collaborate with Retail, PCG, and Group Business Development teams to ideate and develop innovative marketing campaign concepts aligned with each division's growth objectives, working with Marketing Coordinators to bring campaigns from concept to execution
Provide strategic marketing support for Group and Private Client divisions, including preparation of RFP presentations, member-facing materials, and launch communications for new programs
Support the AVP of Group in the planning, organization, and deployment of the Ontario Regional Annual Conference for the Personal Insurance team, managing all logistics from initial planning through on-site execution
Plan and manage industry conferences, trade shows, and virtual events end-to-end — from planning calls through deployment — while maintaining an annual event calendar
Research and maintain current knowledge of best-in-class B2C marketing strategies and campaign trends within the Canadian insurance industry, translating insights into actionable recommendations
Design and execute targeted, multi-channel marketing campaigns aimed at specific member segments, leveraging audience insights to improve relevance, conversion, and revenue growth across Personal Insurance
Guide and support the Personal Insurance Sales team in building their professional presence on social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) to generate incremental sales opportunities and drive brand awareness
Together with the Marketing Coordinators create and maintain high-quality marketing collateral including brochures, presentations, newsletters, digital assets, program guides, and video content that reflect HUB's brand standards, with a focus on tools that support lead generation and client acquisition
Manage and maintain the department's marketing project planner, keeping the team on track against timelines and within expense budgets
Manage and maintain Group landing pages in partnership with Corporate Marketing
Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance regularly, ensuring alignment with company objectives, revenue milestones, and ROI targets
Stay current on Canadian P&C insurance industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory considerations to inform strategy and strengthen HUB's market positioning
Contribute to the ongoing development of the team's marketing plans through a strong team-player mindset — sharing key insights, identifying opportunities for alignment, and staying ahead of business needs and industry trends
What You’ll Need for Success
Post-Secondary education in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
Minimum 5+ years’ experience working in a corporate environment in marketing support role dealing with internal and external clients, data analytics, event management, campaign launches, etc.
Experience developing and executing multi-channel B2C marketing campaigns with measurable results
Experience supporting business development teams with sales enablement materials
Familiarity with Canadian P&C or group insurance landscape is a strong asset
Proficiency in MS Office and other systems: Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook, Survey Monkey, Dynamics (other Marketing email distribution platforms), Adobe InDesign or Photoshop is an asset
Experience with video creation and editing tools (Canva, Adobe or similar)
Strong interpersonal (presentations), verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with project management tools, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously

The expected salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
