About the role:

Go-to-market strategies

  • Create and execute go-to-market strategies, developing briefing templates and detailed project timelines that ensure alignment and timely delivery of marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with the marketing team in the delivery of superior marketing initiatives
  • Partner with key stakeholders to effectively understand business objectives and identify marketing strategies to achieve targets
  • Create and maintain a calendar of integrated marketing campaigns that support achievement of sales targets, collaborating with Creative and Digital marketing team members on the implementation of campaigns that meet or exceed KPIs
  • Track marketing performance against KPIs, working as a dynamic team to identify and solve gaps
  • Lead consumer research efforts to inform positioning and awareness, enhance value proposition, and increase customer satisfaction
  • Influence budget allocation and resource planning
  • Evaluate and implement emerging AI technologies to enhance marketing efficiency and innovation

Product marketing

  • Support product initiative rollout including product enhancements and developments
  • Identify in-product marketing opportunities to communicate effectively with customers
  • Develop new strategies to support product adoption with customers
  • Create go-to-market strategies for cross and up-sell with Fairstone Bank products

Cross-functional collaboration

  • Work closely with digital and creative team on social media and UGC strategy, enabling marketing strategies that are aligned with our overarching branding and marketing strategy
  • Collaborate with brand marketing team to ensure all marketing strategies contribute to our over-arching brand narrative
  • Partner with external agencies, vendors, and media partners to execute marketing campaigns and initiatives effectively
  • Participate fully as a member of the team to support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork

Customer contact strategy

  • Support the Sr. Manager, Marketing, in the development of a customer contact strategy
  • Understand and manage customer communications, including operational contacts
  • Collaborate with the brand and creative team to ensure customer touchpoints consistently ladder up to our brand and product value proposition
  • Adhere to identified approval process for all external-facing marketing communications

What we’re looking for:

  • University Degree, 3+ years of experience in marketing strategy or related roles
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns
  • Experience in both digital and traditional marketing channels, including social media, advertising, and content marketing
  • Familiarity with customer and market research, insights analysis and research-based strategy development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and communicate effectively to various stakeholders
  • Ability to stay organized under conditions of multiple tasks and tight deadlines
  • Financial services industry background an asset (mortgage and consumer deposits specifically)
  • French language skills an asset

What you can expect - pay & process:

  • Expected base salary range is $83,000 - $110,000, plus the opportunity to earn an annual incentive bonus tied to performance.
