Job Summary: This position is located at US Mint,Office of the Director - Key Accounts Branch. As a Marketing Specialist, you will plan and manage the delivery of major, high-priority products and services which are central to the Bureau's goals. The employee is responsible for conceiving and developing new product ideas and initiatives; sustaining and maximizing the growth potential for new and mature products; monitoring the status and progress of product production.
Major Duties:
Qualifications: You must meet the following requirements within 14 days of the closing date of this announcement. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized Experience: For the GS-13 is one year of experience at the GS-12 level or equivalent in either public or private sectors, that is directly related to the position as listed in this announcement and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience bringing multiple consumer products to market from inception to product launch; AND Providing post launch product support by monitoring and managing product inventory, sales revenue and marketing, and advertising promotions for those products throughout the product lifecycle; AND Performing comparative analysis of previous product and/or the performance of similar products sales history; AND Utilizing Oracle to process order entry for high-value bullion products. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-13 you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
