Marketing Project Manager

Position Summary:

The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing the execution of marketing initiatives, campaigns, and creative deliverables from intake through delivery. This role serves as the central point of coordination for marketing workflow, helping ensure work moves efficiently from intake through production and delivery.

Working closely with the Creative Director and marketing leaders across Product Marketing, Marketing Communications, Demand Generation, and Strategic Partnerships, this role manages project intake, creative trafficking, production timelines, and cross-team coordination to support efficient marketing execution.

The Marketing Project Manager maintains visibility into marketing workloads, project dependencies, and delivery timelines, ensuring that marketing initiatives progress smoothly through the production process. The role supports the coordination of designers, content creators, and cross-functional stakeholders while maintaining clear communication and alignment throughout each project lifecycle.

This role also contributes to improving marketing operational efficiency by helping implement scalable workflows, project management practices, and thoughtfully applied AI-enabled tools that accelerate marketing delivery while maintaining strong quality and human oversight.

Primary Accountabilities:

Project Management

  • Apply knowledge of project management principles, tools, and processes to coordinate marketing initiatives and creative production

  • Manage marketing project intake, ensuring requests are clearly defined, properly scoped, and aligned with marketing priorities and business impact.

  • Coordinate the trafficking of creative deliverables across internal teams and external partners

  • Represent the needs of the project, balancing competing priorities, already-committed resources, and differing perspectives to ensure delivery on-time and within constraints.

  • Develop and maintain project timelines, workback schedules, and task assignments to support on-time delivery

  • Maintain visibility into project status, deadlines, and workload across marketing teams

  • Confirm assignment of resources and validate completion date targets for project tasks

  • Track project progress and ensure deliverables move efficiently through the marketing production workflow

  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders, project owners, and execution teams to ensure alignment throughout each initiative

  • Identify risks, bottlenecks, or resource conflicts that may affect delivery timelines and proactively escalate or resolve issues

  • Coordinate cross-functional marketing initiatives involving creative development, campaigns, events, content production, and sales enablement materials

  • Conduct post-project reviews to capture insights and identify opportunities to improve marketing workflows and processes

Marketing Workflow & Production Coordination

  • Manage the marketing intake and prioritization process using established project management tools and workflows

  • Coordinate production schedules for creative deliverables including presentations, digital assets, sales materials, event materials, and campaign assets

  • Maintain project tracking and reporting within marketing workflow tools (e.g., Monday.com)

  • Support the Creative Director in managing production timelines, workload visibility, and resource allocation across design and content team

  • Ensure consistent adherence to marketing workflow processes, project documentation standards, and review cycles

  • Help maintain visibility into marketing capacity, delivery timelines, and project status for marketing leadership

Operational Efficiency & AI Enablement

  • Support the development and improvement of marketing project management processes and operational workflows

  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing delivery through automation, templates, and scalable production models

  • Maintain documentation of marketing workflow best practices, templates, and operational guidelines

  • Help identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce production bottlenecks

  • Help implement and manage the responsible use of AI-enabled tools that improve marketing productivity, including workflows for presentation development, content drafting, and production coordination while maintaining quality and brand standards.

Influence

  • Build strong working relationships with marketing leaders and stakeholders across the organization

  • Facilitate collaboration across Product Marketing, Marketing Communications, Demand Generation, Strategic Partnerships, and Creative teams

  • Provide structure and clarity around project timelines, deliverables, and responsibilities

  • Influence project outcomes by proactively identifying challenges and coordinating solutions across teams

Additional Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field required
  • PMP, CSPO, CSM, or other related certifications, highly preferred
  • 4–7 years of experience in marketing project management, marketing operations, campaign coordination, or creative traffic management; or equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Experience managing marketing workflows involving creative development, campaign execution, and multi-channel marketing assets such as web, email, social, presentations, digital advertising, and event materials preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate across diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Experience with marketing workflow or project management platforms (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Workfront, Jira, or similar) required, Experience with Monday.com a plus
  • Experience working in B2B or B2B2C marketing environments such as SaaS, martech, ad tech, media, retail technology, or related industries preferred.
  • Experience with  AI-enabled tools that support marketing productivity.

At Inmar, compensation reflects our belief in integrity, transparency, and the value of individual contributions. The hiring range for this position is:

74,985.75 - 124,976.25 USD Annual

The final offer may vary based on factors such as geographic location, job-related skills, education, certifications, work experience, and other relevant considerations.
