ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Purpose of this role is about ensuring that customers' needs are met whilst maximizing the profits of a company. The Marketing Manager will monitor and analyze market trends in Ruminants, study competitors' products and services, explore ways of improving existing products and services, and increasing profitability as well as identify target markets and develop strategies to communicate with them in order to maximize demand (sell-out).
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Marketing Management:
-Championing the brand internally making sure all elements of the company understand the brand and its goals.
-Working closely with all parts of the company to ensure commercial goals of the brand are met.
-Developing and sustaining strong working relationships with stakeholders (Vet, KOL, Farmer, Associations, etc).
-Playing a key part in buying, sourcing and manufacturing of the brands products and ensuring all aspects of the supply chain align with the brand.
- Effective multichannel brand strategy development in accordance with the BUD.
-Developing high quality and effective marketing materials that align correctly with the overall brand strategy.
- Realistic forecasting of sales and volume for the brand ensuring all parts of the company are geared accordingly.
- Presenting the brand strategy to directors and sales and marketing teams at internal meetings and conferences.
- Managing external agencies and ensuring marketing budgets are met.
- Seek out new marketing opportunities that fit with the brand and maximizing all opportunities for growth.
- Developing strong working relationships with sales and merchandising/promoters teams is essential.
- In collaboration with Distribution Director, carries out a regular analysis of forecasting and phasing.
- Report any possible pharmacovigilance issue detected during post-marketing activities and/or clinical trials.
- Regularly read the main scientific journals/magazines and report any possible pharmacovigilance issue that might be described.
- Responsible for the correct management of the Zoetis social media of the Business Units, both if they are managed directly or by third-party suppliers
- Ensure that the Zoetis social media under their responsibility is regularly monitored to ensure that any adverse events for the products marketed by Zoetis are promptly reported.
Organizational relationships:
-Reports into the BUD Livestock
Education and Experience:
-Veterinary/technical degree
- Specialization in marketing
-English proficiency
-Relevant previous experience in marketing, ideally brand manager in a similar industry (pharma/veterinary)-
-Proven budget management
-Communication and Influencing skills track record
Travel Requirements:
Frequent business travels.
