Marketing Finance Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Finance Analyst to join our Marketing team. This role requires an individual with proven expertise in managing and applying financial concepts, along with a strong operational background. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting financial planning and analysis initiatives for TR Marketing.

About the Role:

In this role as a Marketing Finance Analyst, you will:

  • Review and analysis of monthly marketing operational expenses.

  • Accurate forecasting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Tracking the marketing annual spend.

  • Providing a scorecard / spend analysis to Finance and Marketing leadership, facilitating the understanding of marketing readiness, financial data, and trends, including ROI

  • Assist in providing and interpreting financial data to support business cases and incremental budget requests

  • Projecting variances in spend and potential favorability, calling out opportunities to reallocate investment

  • Working with the Marketing Performance team to provide suggestions on efficient use of investment

  • Optimization and management of team budget trackers / tracking methods

  • Supporting the onboarding, management and transition to the planning and budgeting platform (Anaplan)

  • Communicating and providing training on process establishments and ongoing iterations.

  • Acting as the conduit between Marketing and Finance.

  • Attending to ADHOC requests from both finance and non-finance teams such as vendor management, purchase order creations, onboarding new vendor on platform

  • Identifying and automating processes wherever needed

  • Shift Timing: 2pm IST to 11pm IST

  • Work Mode: Hybrid

About You:

You’re a fit for the role of Marketing Finance Analyst, if your background includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in business or finance related education preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience.

  • Direct experience in Business or Finance, Marketing, B2B industry a plus.

  • Proven experience navigating complex and matrixed businesses.

  • Proactive personality and proven experience interacting with geographically diverse and senior stakeholders.

  • Clear understanding of financial processes and capabilities.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong ability to prioritize, complete tasks independently with a high degree of accuracy, work with attention to detail, and deal with ambiguity.
