Position Summary:
As the Marketing Director – Trade & Brand, you will provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for our marketing organization, reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will be responsible for elevating our marketing function to the next level, potentially redesigning the organization to meet future needs. Your focus will be on developing and executing innovative, commercially-driven marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth. You will foster a commercial mindset within the team, ensuring alignment with sales and distribution objectives, and champion a culture of collaboration, agility, and high performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Organizational Development
Lead, inspire, and develop the Marketing Generalist group and cross-functional marketing teams.
Assess and, if necessary, redesign the marketing organization to ensure optimal structure, capabilities, and performance.
Set clear, customer-focused expectations and connect marketing initiatives to the company’s broader vision and goals.
Foster a culture of commercial acumen, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
Marketing Strategy & Execution
Oversee all facets of marketing, including market planning and analysis, customer insights, segmentation, creative development, go-to-market strategies, channel management, and customer lifecycle management.
Develop and implement integrated marketing, advertising, and promotional campaigns across digital, print, and other media.
Align marketing targets and activities with sales and distribution teams to maximize commercial impact.
Support the implementation of go-to-market strategies, including product, price, promotion, and place.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
Build and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders, media, third-party service providers, and other key partners.
Collaborate with product, sales, and other cross-functional teams to define, develop, and execute special events, including trade shows and industry conferences.
Performance Management & Reporting
Monitor, review, and report on marketing activities, sales impact, and budget execution.
Direct and support market research collection, analysis, and interpretation to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
8+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, ideally in trade and brand marketing within an international or American corporate environment.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful, commercially-driven marketing strategies.
Experience in organizational design and change management within a marketing context.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership abilities.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
