Marketing Coordinator

A unique opportunity to join a best-in-class marketing team working across PR, social media, events, advertising, photo/video production, book publishing, and more. At Workshop/APD, our in-house team functions as a 360-degree communications agency overseeing strategy and execution for a broad range of initiatives and programs across disciplines. The right candidate is a proactive, organized multi-tasker with a passion for architecture/design and strong communication skills. 

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing & Communications

    • Support day-to-day marketing activities across PR, social media, events, email campaigns, awards, and content creation.
    • Manage team calendar, logistics, booking for events 
    • Maintain marketing asset library and organize press/awards submissions and coverage.
  • Digital & Social Media

    • Monitor social channels for engagement and manage journal content calendars.
    • Coordinate website updates, including team pages, press/awards, and product uploads form our Workshop Collection pieces
    • Schedule headshots and maintain staff bios for all new hires
  • Public Relations

    • Assist with PR efforts, including credit/source lists, interviews, and project narratives.
    • Partner with design studios on project narrative development
    • Track press coverage and maintain editorial calendars and award lists.
  • Content & Events

    • Coordinate marketing events such as press days, launches, and speaking engagements.
    • Manage email lists and oversee eblast testing and scheduling.

Requirements & Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in PR, marketing, team coordination and/or related communications roles
  • Friendly, curious and personable, with excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, taking direction and/or initiative as needed 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus
  • Proactive multi-tasker with great attention to detail
