About the job - Marketing Coordinator

ContactMonkey is on the lookout for a Marketing Coordinator to help execute our campaigns and events. While ensuring clear communication with both internal and external stakeholders, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring project deliverables, booking event logistics, and supporting the creation of engaging content to drive sales opportunities. You’ll be joining a lean team of ambitious marketers where your work will have a real impact on the growth of the business.



Your impact

  • End-to-End Event Execution: Plan and execute outstanding digital and in-person events, from internal event kick-offs to booking travel and coordinating with partners, to swag sourcing and post-event follow-up.
  • Campaign Coordination: Manage timelines and deliverables for content marketing programs, ensuring content and assets are ready for execution.
  • Creative Strategy: Participate in team brainstorms and propose innovative event concepts to increase engagement and drive sales opportunities.
  • Logistics & Travel: Oversee all event logistics for customers and employees, with a willingness to travel internationally (approximately 20% of the time).
  • Budget Tracking: Monitor marketing metrics and vendor budgets, invoicing, and recordkeeping.
  • Social & Content: Support ContactMonkey’s organic social media efforts on LinkedIn, writing copy and coming up with creative post ideas, and engaging with our customers and community of internal comms pros.

  • Collaborative Spirit: A high-energy team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working cross-functionally.
  • Clear Communicator: Excellent written and verbal skills. You’d be comfortable meeting customers IRL, sharing internal updates, and representing ContactMonkey on social media.
  • Travel: This role requires the ability to travel up to 20% the time, including domestic and international locations. Candidates must possess a valid passport (or be able to obtain one) and meet all legal requirements for international travel.

 

How you can stand out 

  • Experience with virtual event tools (i.e. Zuddl, Airmeet, Zoom Webinars, etc.)
  • Experience with social media and growing an audience (i.e. LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, etc.)
  • Experience with martech (i.e. Salesforce, Hubspot, Notion, etc.)
  • Experience or interest in learning AI and automation (i.e. Gemini, Clay, etc.)

Compensation & Work Details

The salary range for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 CAD. Compensation is thoughtfully determined based on your experience, skill set, and alignment with our internal compensation framework and internal equity.

We’re always happy to answer questions about compensation throughout the hiring process.

This is a backfill position based out of our downtown Toronto office, at King and Spadina. Our team works in the office 3x per week to promote collaboration.
