Marketing Communications Support (Late Shift)

Asturias Full time

Axalta has remained at the forefront of the coatings industry by continually investing in innovative solutions. We engineer technologies that protect customers’ products – whether they are battling heat, light, corrosion, abrasion, moisture, or chemicals – and add dimension and beauty with colourful finishes. We have a vast and ever-evolving portfolio of brands primed to play an important part in everything from modernizing infrastructure around the world to enabling the next generation of electric and autonomous vehicles.

We are currently looking for a Marketing Communications Support Specialist (late shift) to join us at our facility in Asturias, Spain.

The Marketing Communications Service Center supports the execution of marketing communication activities across the world, serving as the central point of contact for the greater organization.

In this role, you will manage incoming requests, quickly assessing, prioritizing, assigning, and tracking each one to ensure timely project delivery. You may also complete some tasks directly, such as light graphic design, template-driven communications, or purchase order entry, while escalating more complex projects to other teams in the Marketing Communications organization. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a service-oriented approach to delivering high quality, brand-compliant materials efficiently.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and triage incoming marketing communications service requests from internal teams, including sales and other functions.
  • Set up and deploy internal and external email communications using approved templates, partnering with global teams who provide final copy and images to ensure timely and accurate distribution.
  • Support the translation and proofreading of marketing assets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand tone and regional requirements.
  • Administer and maintain content within the Seismic sales enablement platform, including uploading, tagging, organizing assets and managing user rights and permissions.
  • Process and track purchase orders related to marketing activities, including vendor management and invoice reconciliation.
  • Coordinate the ordering, fulfillment, and shipping of event materials such as brochures, giveaways, signage, and displays through regional partners.
  • Complete light graphic design tasks, including monthly promotional flyers, presentation formatting, and custom branded items.
  • Route complex or strategic requests to the appropriate marketing communications team members.
  • Ensure all outputs follow brand guidelines and quality standards.
  • Maintain status updates for service center requests using a project / ticketing management system.

Key requirements:

  • Willingness to work from 11:00am and finish at 08:00pm (1 hour for lunch break)
  • Completion of post-secondary education preferred in a marketing, communications, or business field of study
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Good knowledge of design tools (especially good familiarity of Adobe Indesign Pack / Adobe Creative Cloud).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, follow templates, and meet deadlines
  • Team-oriented with a customer service mindset
  • Willingness to learn tools such as Seismic, Salesforce Account Engagement, and other marketing systems
