"Rakuten Fashion" is an e-commerce fashion site that offers a wide range of official items from various fashion brands. We aim to not only sell products, but also to maximize the value and appeal of each brand, and to provide the best possible shopping experience for each and every customer.
We are looking for new members to join our marketing team to accelerate the growth of Rakuten Fashion. Our mission is to deepen our understanding of customers based on data and to maximize the number of customers and their purchase frequency. To that end, we are responsible for the execution and improvement of each marketing initiative, and we are constantly pursuing new challenges.
While leveraging the abundant resources of the Rakuten Group, we are looking for individuals who can break free from existing frameworks, identify problems on their own, and create solutions.

Position Details
You will be in charge of everything from planning to execution of marketing campaigns (TVCM and WebCM) with the aim of increasing awareness and changing attitudes towards Rakuten Fashion.
We are looking for specialists who can create their own work by developing new channels and taking on new challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulation of strategies for app awareness and attitude change
- User analysis, planning and execution of measures
- Execution of influencer marketing
- Progress management and coordination with internal and external stakeholders for the execution of measures
Work Environment
Organizational structure
- Entire division: Approximately 100 people / members
- Marketing Section: Around 15 people / members
- Age range: Around 30 years old
- Ratio of new graduates to mid-career hires: New graduates (20%) / Mid-career hires (80%)
Backgrounds of mid-career hires
- A diverse range of backgrounds, including those from advertising agencies, apparel brands, and marketing roles at operating companies.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Experience in implementing video-ad campaigns for the purpose of recognition and attitude change (planning, direction, etc.)
- Experience in numerically measuring the effectiveness of advertising campaigns for awareness and attitude change
- Experience working on projects involving various stakeholders
- Experience working with an advertising agency or working for an advertising agency
- Experience creating stylist briefs or familiarity with fashion
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in video ad production and direction
- Project management experience
- Experience in managing TV commercials and digital advertising (especially YouTube, Instagram, etc.)
- Experience in influencer marketing
- Experience implementing ad tags, tag managers, and SDKs
- Data extraction skill using SQL
