What’s the role
Shell Lubricants LATAM Macro Distributors - Marketing Analyst Scope & Deliverables:
Assess Lubricants consumer market data (PCMO= Passenger Car Motor Oil and MCO = Motorcycle Consumer Oil) by product family, identifying opportunities and gaps and working on strategic and tactic initiatives to improve business results;
Implement new plans and initiatives based on thorough data analysis and track their results and impact at LATAM Markets (25 countries);
Have a special focus on the actions most effective in driving premium product penetration in the market in order to generate more Market share in the region.
Measure Annual Business Plans performance across key LATAM Macro Distributors, evaluating targets and execution and build a concise dashboard highlighting: top‑performing MDs in Consumer sector volumes, premium penetration and on overall B2C execution of marketing and sales initiatives, looking for maximum Return on Investments (ROIs) possible.
Schedule quarterly reviews with MDs and Shell staff to discuss results and performance drivers and capture shared learnings/agree on next actions.
Identify good practices across MDs, organizing the information in such way that we can expand those practices to other MDs, tracking the results.
Together with Consumer Sector Manager, develop a clear strategy for the expected growth from our MCO portfolio (Shell Advance), identifying the right brand positioning for each product in the Latam priority countries (Peru, Colombia and Guatemala).
PCMO and MCO portfolio performance analysis and after sound judgement push actions for portfolio cleansing and updates.
Kline and other institutions data analysis with special focus on MCO trends and opportunities.
Develop LATAM MDs Growth projects with special focus on MCO countries.
Track growth project evolution (PCMO & MCO) and related initiatives plan according to the agreed KPIs.
Together with B2C Sector Manager and Pricing team, develop the brand maps for key countries (MCO and PCMO).
Brand and Comms support for PCMO and MCO Lubricants families
Other Sector Leads (CRT and Industry/Off Highway) support, on ad hoc basis
What you bring
Must have legal authorization to work in Brazil on a full-time basis for anyone other than the current employer.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration; MBA in Marketing or Business Administration is preferred
Minimum five years’ experience in marketing roles, preferable at lubricants sector at known Oil Industries
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
Proven track record on Marketing business Planning and results tracking environment
Experience in distributor management beneficial (i.e., DICE training)
English and Spanish languages are required at skill level (fluency in writing and speaking)
Note: This is a home‑based office role in Brazil
