JOB PURPOSE
This role exists to demonstrate a mastery of handling complexity and navigating trade-offs to support the country BU team. A master of demand planning and S&OP, this role translates insights and ensures that all cross functional inputs to the creation of a business forecast. They are a citizen data scientist that can use and interpret data to derive a central forecast that is unbiased accurate and aligned at the Business Units level. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Forecast Accuracy & Bias: Ensure accuracy and monitor bias in all forecasts.
- Forecast Composition: Fully understand and clearly explain the forecast structure (volume) and related risks & opportunities to peers within the country BU.
- Demand-Supply Reconciliation: Own the reconciliation process as part of the S&OP cycle.
- Business Warehouse (BW) Accountability: Manage BW activities during S&OP.
- Business Insights & Demand Drivers: Gather market and business insights, translating them into demand drivers for automated forecast modeling (L2) to improve forecast quality.
- Market Expertise: Support BU country discussions with deep market understanding.
- Volume Forecast Alignment: Ensure updated and agreed volume forecasts are submitted and aligned with financial projections.
- Forecast Quality Improvement: Drive continuous improvement through regular performance reviews with CDP and enhance demand drivers’ quality (e.g., promotions).
- Innovation Planning: Own the innovation planning process—from input gathering and timeline coordination to validation of CDP detailed forecast inputs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, CD, and Finance to deliver input-led forecasts, covering non-forecastable segments, innovations, and local brand-building across all horizons.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree
- Strong experience in demand planning and the S&OP process
- Advanced data analysis and forecasting skills
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Package (Excel, Word)
- Experience in using Power BI
- Proficiency in Romanian and English
